Hey everyone,
So, Quarter World is getting their hands on the New Avatar pinball from Stern, before it hits the streets, to do some beta testing, and who better to help beta test it then the pin brawlers of Portland.

This Friday I will be resetting the high scores on Simpson's Pinball Party and Indiana Jones. The top two #1 scores win the chance to come on down to the QW shop and have a little pinball party and beta test the heck out of the new pin and help work out any kinks we may find.

If by chance 1 person throws up the #1 score on both pins, you get to bring a friend of your choosing.
Bonus: I will not be resetting the Grand Champion on either table, sooooo if you GC the table, you become a bonus winner and get first jab at the Avatar pin. If you GC both tables, you rule, and fist bumps all around, but sorry you don't get to invite a friend.

You have three weeks to play the two pins at Langano Lounge. Good luck.


Quest For the Beta Test

Objective: Score the #1 score on either Simpson’s Pinball Party or Indiana Jones for your chance to beta test the new Avatar pinball by Stern.

Rules: Have the #1 on either Simpson’s Pinball Party or Indiana Jones by the time Langano Lounge closes on September 12th.

The #1 score on the two pinball’s WINS!

Bonus: if you get the grand champion for either table you also win, but get first game of the beta test.

Very important!!!
If you put up a high score, be sure to give your info to the bartender. If you can’t be reached then you don’t get to play.

Sweet! I like this. So, if a different person GC's each machine and a different person gets 1st on each does that mean 4 people get invited?

So I reset all the high scores on both pins. And set them to 1,000,000 for a start off point. I also reset the GC on simpsons, but left it at the factory setting score. So have at it bawlers. CAN YOU DIG IT!

I went in tonight - they're both playing great.

I chased Danny B for a couple of bucks, but my best came a million short of his 27.9. Put up a #1 on Indy, but it's only 76 mil, so it wont last.

GJ on the GC on SPP, DB

The garage stopped working while I was playing SPP tonight. It's not doing the sticky out half open thingie, but it's just not opening up when you hit it. Gonna make it a lot harder to put up a score...

Has anyone put up any more scores on these? I went in the other night and got a 48 mil or something on Simpsons. It was like #3, but it was playing really well and was definitely super fast. I also got the #1 on Indy with 319 mil or something like that. It was also playing really great!

ohhhh, and I think that I did some crazy skill shot on the simpson's, but I'm not totally sure. Basically, I plunged the ball and made the treehouse shot (using the upper flipper) without hitting any other switches first. Then it gave me the treehouse crazy extra ball. I don't know if I just had the treehouse lit, or if it's like some kind of skill shot that gives you the treehouse right away?!? Of course, I wasn't actually ever able to replicate that, so I had no way to confirm.....

Stopped by to check out SPP, fixed the switch on the garage door, so it's good to go. I also can't stress this enough, if you put up a high score fill out the form behind the bar. Just ask the bar tender for the clip board. With that being said, have at it bawlers. It still anyones game.

On SPP
We have Lou Hamlett "CFF REPLAY"who GC'ed the table with 151,274,120
with the #1 score was CFF BGLASS with 115,471,810

On Indy we had Chad Darnell "CRD" with the #1 score of 425,471,710
