This sounds pretty fun - it's $100, but you get to play a mighty amount of pinball for your money. Very similar to the casual flow style that will take place at the cascadia cup. The cool thing about this tho, is that after the first day of pinball . . . EVERYONE "qualifies", into a different division (A, B, C), based on their win/loss record from the first day. After the 2nd day if you've qualified within your division you advance. If you don't make it to the finals on the 3rd day, you get put in the consolation bracket and play a double elimination tournament with all the other losers for a $300 or $400 prize.
I like the idea cuz it doesn't give an advantage to anyone with a heavy pocketbook and for your $100 you get to play competitive pinball with people in your skill relative skill level for 3 days. You play 30 games over the course of the 2 day qualifying period.
