Word. I heard that you kicked some ass in two playoffs to get to the finals! It seems like it was quite the topsy-turvy tournament. Next year you should simulcast the event—I would pay top dollar to hear a few of you provide a running commentary of the action.

Also - thanks to everyone who came from out of town. Really great to see you all again, and see/meet some new faces.

Yes, everything Noah said and more!! This tournament was bigger and better than we had ever even hoped! Also, a huge thanks to Sam and Brinda and everyone else at Slabtown!!! It's great to have places in town with lots of machines, but it's even better to have owners who really love pinball and are willing to do everything possible to make a great tournament! Plus you got F-14! I love that game!! Who got that picture of Robert with the broom? Awesome!

Thank you for organizing Slabtown Showdown II. It was very well organized and seemed to run very smoothly thanks to all your hard work and preparation. Of course it was nice that Robert won, but it was the tournament games, mini tournaments, venue, and especially the cameraderie that made it such a fun weekend for us! You are a great bunch of people in Portland, and thank you for making the Seattle, BC folk and other out-of-towners feel so welcome!

Results are in. Also, I think I have a sickness, you will be hearing about the Portland Cup 2010 shortly. It will be a 1 day tournament consisting of 32 people sometime in early Nov. at Slabtown.
