Slabtown Tournawesoment - Tues 9/22

On Tuesday the 22nd of September, 7:00pm at Slabtown the greatest weekly tournament ever will be held. With so many games to be played I'm thinking it just might have to be a head-to-head best 2 of 3, double elimination format. All games will be included except for Dr. Dude. Sorry to anyone that annoys but that's just the way its got to be. $5 to enter and lots of fun to be had. Last week tied for the best turnout yet (22) and both times they were at Billy Ray's. Let's beat that number this time around so tell your friends and pass the word!

Is it because too many people suck at Dr. Dude?

Doc is legit, man.

Anyway, this is going to be epic. So many machines!!

CAN NOAH DEFEND HIS DOMINATION AT SLABTOWN??!

Nobody knows. But we'll soon find out.

It's a game people can play when they get knocked out or if they aren't playing in the event or whenever. Basically it's not in a line-up and the whole dude-o-meter jackpot thing, I'm not 100% on how that works but say like Taxi when you could get a 4mil jackpot on ball 1 and then I get it on ball 1 after you and only get 200k...I'm just not gonna let it be a factor.

One service note: on JM, the "Light Throwing Spikes" switch (left inlane) is still super flakey. It's seems to work fine if the ball is entering the inlane from the playfield, but when the ball is dropped from ramp it only seems to register about 25% of the time.

Ahhh - who needs throwing spikes when playing JM? It's not like it's the key to getting really high scores or anything!

And no . . . my guess is, there will be very little chance of me defending my "crown". I'll certainly try though 8-)

We have a few other issues we have to take care of on JM. We'll look at the left inlane switch, we might have to lower the back legs to slow the game down. since it's jumping the switch.

Thanks,
Trish and Jeri

I had this exact problem on my JM when I picked it up. Simply replacing the microswitch solved the problem. Please don't slow down Johnny, he needs to get online.
