Tournament at Ground Kontrol, this Saturday, April 5, 1pm

The tournament for the Portland Pinball League is this Saturday! Ground Kontrol, 1pm.

This time there's a $5 buy-in. The top players will receive cash prizes, plus other goodies.

This tournament marks the end of the latest PPL season. , if you don't know, is a league that meets weekly at different venues to battle on four machines. It's always a casual, fun deal. There's around 6-10 players showing up each week. Registration is open.

Usually to play in the tournament you have to have gone to at least one meeting during the season. But I don't know how strict that's going to be this time around. I doubt anyone's going to be turned down from registering. Last season I only went to one meeting, then I showed up at the last tournament and won the entire thing. It was a fun tournament.

This one will be fun, too. I don't know the exact format - but it will most likely be 1-on-1, best 2 out of 3, each player picks a machine (so you're not stuck on one machine for each match-up), with double elimination.
