Huge turnout for a new venue in North Portland in the snow. Good times, dudes.

This idea was shot down last night by a few folks, but I bring it up for discussion:

I want to have EVEN MORE FUN and have a final play off game for the ties. And give folks real places... So it wouldn't really be two at 7, you'd have a tie breaker match... so it'd be 6 and 7.

And for the four players, you'd play off too... so instead of 9, it'd be 9, 10, 11, 12. Just all four play one game and then you get ranked in your order of that score.

Has no real outcome on anything except feeling like you are a little better than you thought. Or worse.

That way, instead of there being a tie for last place, there'd actually be a last place.

True, it'd make the whole tourney go longer, but last night we could have just played this last game on the machine that wasn't in it...

That won't work. Most of the time all machines are always in use. Plus a lot of the times when players get knocked out they leave. Plus then the person running the tourney has that much more work to do to round everyone up.

Goldie games! That's what they are there for!
