I have a couch, an air matress, and an inflatable orange boat with a falcon on it. As a last resort if anyone needs a spot.

Here is the general idea for how I am thinking the payout breakdown will go.

40 players x $40 = $1600

1 $600
2 $300
3 $200
4 $100
5-8 $50
9-16 $25

Top 16 seems like a pretty deep payout to me for only having 40 players. Nearly half the participants would finish in the money.

I like 1-12 paid out as it's closer to 25% of the folks who entered. For reference here was Cascadias payouts with 48 entrants -

1st $625
2nd $375
3rd $250
4th $150
5-8th $75
9-12th $40

Even if 4 players are getting paid who did not advance to the next round of finals?

16 is scrapped. So far it will be top 12 with Noah's payouts if we hit 48. But what about top 8 if it is only 40 players?

1 $625
2 $375
3 $250
4 $150
5-8 $50

We could also round 1-4 down and have an extra $200 that we could give 5-8 $75 and 9-12 $25. However if there are only 40 people paying out 8 is within the 20-25% range.

Good call . . . and - Cascadia was paying everyone who made it to the finals (as there was only a 12 person final). Basically with a 16 person final the bottom four of the 8 who did not advance would get nothing. However, if you're one of those 4, you totally tanked (like maybe got 1 or 2 boints of a possible 12). $25 won't make you feel any better!

For some reason, I also like the lowest person with a payout getting their money back - seems like a nice way to bookend the payouts.

Okay, so if there are 48 players 12 players will be payed out based on Noah's posting of

1st $625
2nd $375
3rd $250
4th $150
5-8th $75
9-12th $40

Under 48 players:

1 $625
2 $375
3 $250
4 $150
5-8 $50

Sign up will be staying open all day but all games must be finished by 7:00pm. So make sure you give yourself enough time.

We've got just over 30 people and there is still plenty of time to get all of your games in if you want to come down.

That was fun - thx to everyone who kept scores/entered scores. Jakes camera rigging system was really impressive. Can't wait to see the incredible final game video.

I think that's right.

Elijah also won a $400 game on grand prix.

Should have been there!
