I'm just gonna break it down simple and if you have questions I will answer them.

Held Saturday Oct. 1 and the finals will be on Oct. 2. Location: C-Bar.

Sign-up is anytime starting at 11 am, the latest time you can sign up is 1 pm. Entry is $40. It gives you 12 tickets to qualify on 5 machines(just like Showdown). As of right now those machines are HSII:TG, JB, JM, T2 and Target Alpha. There are no buying extra tickets. That's it. A soft cut off will be at 6:00pm, try to be done or down to 1 ticket. Hard cut off at 7, drain your balls immediately and we will record your score. If you flip 1 extra time the score won't count. Once this round is over the top 8 qualifiers will be done for the day and are in the the finals on Sunday with the rankings of 1-8.

The rest of ya, 9-??? are then going to entered into a head to head bracket with seeding based on your qualifying score. These matches will be played on all games at C-Bar and will be best 2 of 3 single elimination. Once there are 8 players left congratulations, you 8 have made it to the next day.

At this point those 8 will continue there heads up matches for 1 more round, but it will be a single game match. Then the 4 winners will play one 4 player game to determine the 9-12 rankings for the finals. The 4 losers from the head to head matches will do the same for 13-16 rankings. Higher seed will have choice of machine or position for this one game.

Finals will start at 11 am on Sunday and will be played PAPA style.

We did, my bad. I also explained the finals of the head to head wrong. It will be head to head to determine the two groups of 4 playing off for position. I fixed it up above and might make more sense there.

will we be able to practice on the games ahead of time, or do we only play them during qualifying?

I am going to go a head and say maybe, but most likely not. All depends on whether or not they are being tinkered with, which they might be, but even then probably not. However the other 7+ machines that will not be used in qualifying but will be used in the H2H part of it all can be played on all day.

I'm curious will the arm on JM be enabled or disabled for the tournament?

It would be disabled if it is used. Last I heard there is a push to get rid of DM and bring in ST:TNG. No idea if that is going to happen or not though.

Im sorry Maurizio, I just re-read your question about the arm and was thinking Demo Man. The arm on JM will on and fully functional. I don't see a reason why it shouldn't be.

Unfortunately we won't be able to attend. Too many things happening this weekend. We own JM, it's fun to play with arm disabled ( faster ) and enabled (slower paced ).
