PAPA is $5. Casual Flow is the only one that costs more. It is all based on guaranteed games to play. H2H- 2 ($5), PAPA- 3 ($5), Casual Flow- 4 ($10).

How late will warm up and qualifications go?

Starts at 7:00. Not sure when qualifying ends. I think 9:30 has been the cut-off before but basically play your games or I will start yelling. This format has a tendency to run late, so if games aren't being played people will be hearing about it.

I've been mulling over the idea that a player could buy 1 more ticket for $5. Basically a mulligan on a machine you bombed on. It would have to be purchased before 8:30, but you could buy it even if you haven't finished playing all of your games yet. It couldn't be used to play a fourth game, just replay one of your original 3. What are peoples thoughts?

Also, right now the finals is set up like this;

With the top 3 in the finals, and the 3 winners of the first round playing the second round of 3. If that makes sense.

What if it was changed to this.

Where the top 2 are in the finals, 3-4 get 1 bye and the winners from each of the first round games advance and in the second round the top 2 advance to the finals?

People like the games of 3, with 3 automatically in the finals or the games of 4 with the staggered byes and two automatically in the finals?

I'm for the re-buy ticket for sure but you don't have to play one of the 3 you played you just have to scratch 1 of your scores so only 3 scores overall are recorded. It's just going to be more work for you and the scorekeepers is all.

I like the 4-4-4-4 set up better I think, but what would I know I've never qualified in this style tourney

For some reason I think I like this format the best. You get to choose the games you want to play, play them when you want to and in what order, and you are kinda just playing against yourself. Put up the best score you can.

it's a fun format - the only thing it lacks is the learning element that comes along with playing head to head . . .

"Oh that guy beat me on Addams because he went for modes instead of MB" etc etc

If we had more people willing to score keep... Score keeping is the best way to watch player's strategies and learn how machines are bouncing. We should almost have 5 score keepers for the 5 machines. Even if someone just keeps score for a few games and then passes it on.
