Volunteers Needed for 2011 NW Pinball Championships!!

Yes, it's that time again, and like previous years, if you volunteer 8 hours or more, you get into the Northwest Pinball Show FREE for the entire weekend!!

... but any 2 hour block of time that you are willing to do would be SO appreciated...

As you can see in the picture below, there are up to 4 Volunteers needed at any given time, so please send me a PM and I'll add you to the list. First come gets first choice of times they'd like, but as always we'll try to make things work for YOU where needed

ALSO NOTE: If you are hoping to make it to the Finals of any event on Sunday, it would be best that you NOT volunteer for those times as you will be busy playing (hopefully!!)... and on that note, if you are NOT participating in the Tournament this year, it would be encouraged that you possibly pick one block of time there if it would work out with your weekend plans...

Hey gang, Volunteer list updated, but still LOTS of spots needed to fill... whether it's just 2 hours or 8 hours for the full pull and the WEEKEND PASS, please send me a PM and let's get you in a time slot (or 4!!) that would work for you...

I'm sure several of you guys will be there and so many of you have been a major asset in the last few years (not limited to, but with another extra-special thanks to Zoe and Fred last year for the last several hours on the Saturday! ) and we could definitely use your help this year as the Tournament, and in fact the whole NW Pinball Show, continues to draw more and more people locally and from around the country...

The extra-bigness to this event is that boints won at this event could greatly affect people's ability to qualify for the IFPA 9 Championships next year, being held in SEATTLE!!

A great chance to qualify for a World Championships that you WON'T HAVE TO FLY TO!!!


Anyhoo... it's always getting bigger, and only looking that way because of all the help from you guys... true dat!

All right guys, this is where we're at with one week to go...

I appreciate all the people who have signed so far, but if ANYONE else is going to be at the show who can just pick up ONE spot, please PLEASE do so...

These events do not magically happen out of no where... it takes countless people often a hundred (or hundreds!) of hours to get everything ready and then actually be there to make it happen.

People come from across the country, and sometimes the ocean, to come see what we in the Northwest are doing for pinball... Then there's the local people who may be asking what pinball's all about?

This is OUR CHANCE to show everyone how much we care about pinball... the best way you can give back to pinball is to help out; do your part to contribute to the show.

As what I consider the 'Premier Tournament Group' in the entire country (if not the World!) I really don't need to tell you guys this stuff... you do an immense amount for Tournament Pinball, and you all do more than your fare share...

Just asking anyone who has not signed up if they can squeeze in one slot to help fill out that list... we SHOULD be OK even where we're at (minus the late-night Saturday) but every last bit will help
