Entry is $5 and the format is based off PAPA Style qualifying. Players are allowed one entry. The top 12 qualifiers will then playoff in the finals. Qualifying will start at 7:00 and entries will not be sold after 8:00. Every player will receive 3 score cards and then have a choice of which 3 machines they would like to play. At any given location there will be no more than 5 machines to choose from. Each player will play each game chosen 1 time. After a player has completed their games the scores will be recorded and boints will be awarded based on the ranking of each score.
Each game will have boints given out starting with the top score receiving 50 boints, 2nd highest score receiving 45 boints, 3rd highest score receiving 42 boints, and from then on, 4th, 5th, 6th etc. will receive 40 boints, 39 boints, 38 boints and so on respectively. Player’s boints are totaled up to determine their total score and ranking.
Players are encouraged to play early and not wait until the last moment to play. The final ticket will be sold no later than 8:00. A player’s final game must be started no later than 9:30.
Machines are route games and will be played as route games. If a machine goes down prior to 8:00 the machine will be pulled from competition and those that played that machine will have to choose an alternate machine. If it is past 8:30 and a machine goes down all scores will be locked in. Anyone waiting for that machine will have to choose an alternate machine.
The finals will consist of the top 12 qualifiers. The first round of playoffs will consist of 3 player games.
Group A- 4, 9, 12
Group B- 5, 8, 11
Group C- 6, 7, 10
The higher seed will have choice of machine or position. This round will be played out as a one game match and the winner advances.
The second round will consist of the three winners from the previous round and be played out exactly the same. The highest seed has choice of machine or position and the winner advances to the finals.
The final round will consist of the winner of the second round along with the top three qualifiers.
This round will be played out on three games with scoring of 4,2,1,0 for each game. The highest seed will have choice of machine or position throughout the finals.
