The format was kinda cool. It would probably work really well on a Sunday afternoon if you started at 5:00 or so.

I can understand it being long if you play your 3 games right away and then have to sit around until 9:30 to see if you made the cut. But that is why you need to spread your games out.

If we did it on a Sunday I would start it at 12:00 and have unlimited entries (kinda) true PAPA style. 5 games but if you want a new entry, all your previous scores get deleted, regardless if you do better or not. Build the pot up a little bit.

Having a 5th machine would help the qualifying end earlier, there is no doubt about that. There would have been even more ties though, which is fine since we just flipped a coin for them. It wouldn't have helped move the finals along any faster but it would have helped them start 30-45 min earlier.

I think starting the qualifying at 6:30 and ending it at 9:00 could help end the tourney earlier too.

I think dropshot decided to move the tourneys to sunday so that some cool new people could show up.

They're touring for a month, and then will be back in April. And there will be a record release show (some time around april 8th, I think). Coyle will obviously know 10x more than me...

And yeah, that music video is totally rad.
