Found a post on Craigslist from a guy selling 40 arcade machines cheap to clear out his warehouse. Called and asked him if he had any pinball. He has a handful and supposedly owns another 10 EM that he will have available soon as well. He told me he is not certain about what he is selling yet. I am broke now and out of town next week. He told me he would be more clear on what he has and wants to sell next week. Might be good to give him a call before specific titles get posted on Craigslist next week and get any good deals before the vultures swoop. He said he had a Space Invaders, and a few other 80's machines. Also some newer and the EM's. I didn't ask many specifics, but I could see it being a good lead.

I just talked to him - seemed like a nice guy who knew his stuff. He's gonna call me back when he has a full list of the pins he'll be selling. It sounds like they'll be sold working and shopped out. Probably no steals, but might be some nice games for fair prices.

The example I was able to get was a freshly shopped and working Blackout in (supposedly) nice condition for $700 . . . which is probably what a nice Blackout is worth (if not a touch high). I doubt I'll be able to buy any of them, but I'll post the list if he gets back to me.

Pre SS Bally Claude Fernandez! Firepower gets all the attention, but I think Blackout is actually a better game . . . or at least they're on par with one another. Blackout has 3 spinners - what's not to like?

Any more info on the games he has? Portland is a drive, but it might pan out if I get a deal on a few 80's arcades. Also I have a beat up firepower & a fair Blackout...it would be nice to have them side by side in the arcade. Anyone going to be in Coos Bay anytime soon? I could use all kinds of help learning the craft of repairing pinball. The arcade has a dozen pins right now & it would be nice to get them all going. I need help on my HS, BlackOut, F-14 is giving me issues....the list goes on. On a positive note we have a nice TZ & BK2K in right now.

My place is located at 158 Central in downtown Coos Bay. I'm right off of hwy 101 south. Current pinball line up of the working pins is Batman(DE), Checkpoint, F-14, pinbot, Comet, BK2K, TZ, Back to the Future....pins soon to be resurected, special force, secret service, road kings, Simpsons(DE), Blackout, High Speed. Bone yard has a check point carcass & an alien poker....nice playfield, but the cab & boards seem toasted. I also have a hand full of arcade cabs & 2 73'' TV's set up with xbox 360's. Feel free to make in for our ribbon cutting grand opening on NOV 4th. If anyone here would like to help me form a leaugue or plan a tournament please contact me.
