Glossary of Machine Acronyms

Postby Slingshot on Mon Jun 08, 2009 2:55 pm

Would it be worthwhile to post what the acronym's stand for, so that novice players would have an easier time understanding? I'm not sure how much traffic the board gets so it may just be a waste of time.

looks like an army of nicknames for newbies if you ask me. I like Nudge personally. I still can't find a Tank on a pinball machine, so we'll have to invent one.

Didn't he get the name Tank because he used to "tank" each time he stepped up played? Like, they made a joke about how he kinda sucked?

Tank is Tank , as Deiter is Deiter, sometimes a nickname bounces off a chosen name like teflon. Tank is not a pin related nickname, but Special is!

Not so fast. One of us has to have been taking a jab. And I said I wasn't first. So that means you were. You can't hide forever.

TANK is an acronym you idiots: total annihilation, no kills; refers to starting total annihilation on AFM without any saucer or martian hits. tank is a master of this technique, watch out.

Tell me if I got it wrong Tank...

He got put in Hooper Detox one night about 8 or 9 years ago on an infamous "Suit Night" and punched a KUFO discjockey in the nose for making fun of the suit he was wearing while in the same cell. Thereby earning himself a private room for the night! You guys can ask Dieter and Russ about it too.

TANK!
