Hey could you guys get a little more active on this board? The road is a boring place and the closest I get to a pinball machine is this forum. Steve could you talk some shit to someone? Danny there has to be a new kid on the board you can make fun of... Dropshot, it's been a while since you and Jay have had a battle... Maybe you guys could post another tourney the day I leave/ before I come home...
Anything to break up the drives would be greatly appreciated.

Near the Fillmore, Old Miami has a beat-ass Fish Tales machine and Jumbo's has Avatar. If you can make the drive out to Royal Oak, Ye Olde Saloon has Wizard, WCS94, Junk Yard, and Centaur.

Machines on the road:

Seattle bar across the street from Showbox SODO: Had a Road show, ST:TNG, some Stern and a EBD that I spent all my time on. (all in good working order but with stupid Shorty's pricing.)

truck stop in Ellensburgh: Rollergames, TM:BOP, and something else... It was three AM and had been driving all night so I played one game on Rollergames and went back to my crappy truckstop diner food.

Beaumont in Kansas City: Silver Slugger with a broken flipper rubber, Sega Frankenstein with a flipper rubber jammed in the North Pole making it no fun, and a X Files with no DMD but a string of Christmas lights duct-taped to the playfield.

There was a working Apollo 13 at a coffee shop next door, but I opted to play Frank instead.

That's about it so far...

The fucked part is that they were still on when the machine was off. I wasn't really paying attention, walked up plugged some change in thinking it was on, pressed start, noticed the lack of DMD and turned the machine on, still no display, mumbled "stupid Scully" and walked off.

Well Chris, you had more fun on the X-files than I have with a working one. Maybe equal amounts. It might have the worst sound string of any machine.
