Some of us have been saying for weeks now that goldies are worth more than regular dollars. My guess was that they were worth "$1.50" - but estimates vary. But now NPR has basically confirmed this.

hahaha! Awesome. The tip jar reminded me of this one spare change thing they had at the plaid by my house. During the 2008 election one of the guys who worked there wrote "Afraid of change?" on it
