Just posted little over 24 mil on Whirlwind at Slingshot. Never put up a #1 score before. Woop whoop!

I'm also assuming that 24 mil is just an ok score, even though it happens to be the top for that machine right now. What is an average good score on that particular machine, and what is a mind blowing,"holy shit, that's dancin' score for Whirlwind?

That's a pretty good score, especially on that POS whirlwind. I think my first 'hot damn' score was 150 mil on Spiderman back when I was getting into it. I thought that was the bees knees!

My first big score was 500 Million on CFTBL.

One time I was visiting Portland, and I played a Sopranos for the first time. I think I got like 80 million. I was pretty drunk, and hadn't played any new Stern machines... so I was stoked on that. That's all I can remembro at the moment. And I wasn't new to pinball or anything...

Rolling the future spa i had as a teenager or the 12 billion on Demo Man in SF are the first big scores that I can remember (weak left flipper to boot). Before I was in the gang I was trading twilight zone GC's with DDT and DannyB at the Standard. We went back and forth for a while.

Nice WW score - I love a good GC battle - if the Sling was closer I'd start gunning for it!

My first GC was, like, 180M on a Sopranos at this shitty dive in deep Northeast called the Ace Tavern. It took a week of me going in every day after work to the point where all the bartenders were rooting for me to just get it already and stop interrupting the video poker with my replay knocks. I got it on my last day working out there, which is good because otherwise I probably would have taken a 45 minute bus ride just to tie up my unfinished business.

1st HOT DAMN score for me was putting 517million on our TZ, havent been able to do it again. And today I GC'd the road show at our movie theater with a little over 390 MIL, in 3 tries with a janked out right flipper! But alas, I'm still learning & my ultimate goal right now isn't a big score, but to master doing a bounce back on TZ...I will master it!

Some stupid half working Terminator 3 at Chopsticks on Burnside. Someone bought me a shot of Jack Daniels and I had to finish the game with one eye closed. I remember being bummed I was now the only real pinball player in town. Still not sure if that was piss or sweat the next day. Still bummed with 7 years.

AHHHH Yes! The BANG BACK! Hey what's a cool horror themed pin? My buddy is wanting something VERY main stream & licenced material. Wasn't feeling dracula, doesn't have enough cash for CFTBL & though Freddy looked "OKAY". Said he has a $1K to spend & could do it this week. Any ideas. And is there a Jason pinball machine...I couldn't find it?

Tales From the Crypt isn't the worst pinball machine ever. Fun theme!

Tales from the Crypt gets a bad rap. Fun modes and multi ball.

Yeah, I think it's enjoyable. I'm sort of traumatized, though, because the volume was set so high at the one at Billiards Plus.
