System11b GI Connectors.

Anyone have experience replacing GI connectors on a system11b games? I just picked up a swords of fury this weekend and the connectors are super toasted. Also anyone putting any parts orders together anytime soon?

Always replace both sides of the connector and also upgrade the female side with crimp style trifurcon terminal pins. You'll need to get a set of crimpers. Fry's sells the GC Waldom variety for $12.99 or order a pair of 1026-CT crimpers from GPE.

I'd recommend ordering these parts from GPE. 0.156" Trifurcon terminal pins are $0.08/each or $6.50/100 @ GPE vs. $0.15/each @ PBR and $0.17/each @ Marco . Plus, GPE shipping is usually super cheap ($3-$4).

Sauce I have some of the 11b GI connectors coming let you know when they get here! I have both the 6-12 mixed pin waffer style and the .156 trifurcon (I have crimpers) so we should have what we need to do that thing up nice! also doing orders to Marco & PBR this week if you still need other stuff.

SoF's GI connectors are on the interconnect board, not the power supply. They are a single row of header pins with a friction lock, not a wafer connector.

Eric speaks the truth! If I just need to order them from GPE myself, thats fine. Also Eric, do you still have the old displays out of your old cyclone? My player 3 display seems to be outgassed.
