I know - I'm double posting this. Just in case folks don't dig back through the pages of the Slabtown thread.

I don't know if it's Bowens videos or the fact that showdown III is just around the corner, but I decided to do some experimenting with Emmas Flip camera. Just clamped it into a guitar mic stand and placed the stand on the game next to Frontier. Took me a few games, but I was able to put together a decent ball with a baby strapped to my chest.

We need nine ball footage, Frontier is so last year.

I would say that was a good ball 1. What did you end up at after the first one? You had to have collected 5 or 6 times, completely maxed at least twice if not a third,

There will be a 9-ball video soon. I just wanted to play Frontier because I recently installed mylar and it's playing awesome. I'll do both a 9-ball rules video and a gameplay one. I wound up with 3.5 million at the end of this game - the camera batter died shortly after that ball. Still haven't beaten the 5.5 million - although wit this game, once you've maxed bonus, it's only 2 shots to collect 440,000 over and over and over etc. The problem is they're drainy as hell.

Now in HD - http://vimeo.com/19591772

Does anyone know how they rotate the papa videos without adding black bars on the sides and lowering the resolution?

You can do it in Quicktime Pro. Rotate it in the Visual Settings tab of the Movie Properties window and re-export.

This is one of the reasons we put the videos on Vimeo instead of Youtube. Vimeo allows for custom orientation, so we can embed something vertically and do what we want, how we want it to look. Youtube's locked-in aspect ratio forces what you see here -- a horizontal presentation -- or the alternative, huge quantities of black bars.
