That’s right! The time is here. Your entire lifes work has led up to this moment. Will you be able to step up to the plate, or are you gonna just drain. Thanks, to all who have showed up to the last few events. It was a good time and a great chance to practice under pressure. But now it counts, as of right now 42 people have pre-registered and I know of at least 10 more that will show but haven’t signed up yet. Not to mention the others that will show up the day of. So, expect to see your competition reach 60! Good luck to everyone and we will see you all there!

With 42 pre-regged, and at least 10 that we personally know who are planning to enter, and with all the press it’s been getting, I wouldn’t be surprised if the number of registrants ends up being closer to 80 (or more!).
This is seriously going to be awesome.

wow, 42 pre-registered is a really good sign, i’d consider that a success at least in terms of letting people know about it, and we can only get better from here. awesome.

Well it jumped up to 52 over night too! 80 is very feasible. And a bit scary.

Well, shorty’s gets a little over a hundred, and their tournament is run like lousy, and it still manages to happen and work out fine in the end. I think this will go well. This is, as far as I can tell, way more organized and supported. It’ll be sweet.

dudes, i’m super psyched. went down tonight to work on some games i haven’t played much. everything, every game i played, is feeling the best it’s felt in memory. i didn’t play the stuff i usually do, so can’t vouch for every machine, but even games i played last week are much better. the place was totally packed, and there were lots of people getting serious and trying to bring their game. i think this is going to be a surprisingly competitive and fun tournament. there were some folks rocking shorty’s hoodies already on the scene, and i’m sure there was a good flow earlier in the day. i’m guessing tomorrow will be busy as well, making it a pretty good week for GK revenue-wise, maybe they’ll want to do another/more smaller tournaments in the future. i really feel positive about the whole atmosphere and don’t care what happens, it’s going to be a blast.
