Slabtown is soon going to get Swords of Fury! (not sure if it will be there in time for the meeting… but, at any rate, there’s like a million other games there.)

Slabtown Tourney 9/22 (Tuesday)
On Tuesday the 22nd of September, 7:00pm at Slabtown the greatest weekly tournament ever will be held. With so many games to be played I’m thinking it just might have to be a head to head best 2 of 3 double elimination format. All games will be included except for Dr. Dude. Sorry to anyone that annoys but that’s just the way its got to be. $5 to enter and lots of fun to be had. Last week tied for the best turnout yet (22) and both times they were at Billy Ray’s. Let’s beat that number this time around so tell your friends and pass the word! Hope to see you all there.
Showdown at Slabtown
That’s right ladies and gents….Slabtown is less than a week away. This Friday and/or Saturday come down to Slabtown located at 1033 NW 16th Ave just under the 405 bridge. Qualifying will be from 3-midnight on Friday and 12-midnight on Saturday. The top 16 will make it to the finals on Sunday to compete for the grand prize pinball machine Lethal Weapon 3. During qualifying feel free to play each game as many times as you would like, we will only keep your best score per machine and rank them based on everyone else’s scores to determine the point value. Add up all your points on all 6 machines and the top 16 continue on into Sunday. Don’t forget to check out CFF’s own Federation of Eagles hitting the stage Saturday night as well. There will be 6 machines on free play the entire weekend. Some of you may already know but here is the final tournament line-up:

Also…during Saturday nights show there will be a street tourney going on in the front of the bar on one machine. That prize is a PBR snowboard. Pretty sure that does not come with boots or bindings…dang!
This event should be a blast…if you are coming in late Friday or Saturday just tell the guy at the door you are here for the pinball event and he will let you in. You do have to enter the pinball tourney then to get a wrist band for the weekend. Hope to see you all there.

With the addition of Whirlwind, Dr. Dude, The Getaway, and Johnny Mnemonic on top of Congo, Medieval Madness and The Addam’s Family it is only fair to say…DAMN! And with that this Thursday (7/9) at 7:00pm there will be a head to head single game double elimination tournament. $5 entry with multiple cash prizes to the top finishers. Located on 16th and Marshall in the NW just under the 405 bridge for those that don’t know.
The event still stands only it has been changed to a best 2 of 3 double elimination tournament and a $10 entry due to there being 8 machines available. Payouts are much bigger and better…check the message board for more details. Oh yeah, there will also be a Twilight Zone as well. Stay tuned for possible beer specials posted later this evening. Still a 7:00pm start time. Let’s make this a huge turn-out for Deathsave coming down from Seattle, and if he doesn’t make it he will feel really bad for missing out on all the fun.
