Posted: April 9th, 2009 by dropshot
That’s right, this is the 2nd tournament after saying there will be no more until Ground Kontrol. Next Tuesday (4/14) join us for the “Beat Bounceback on MM at Clinton Street Tourney”. Everyone is welcome to give it a go. Start time will be around 8, $5 to enter winner takes all with a twist. Who ever beats Bounceback on MM gets $5, it just may be your luck and you’ll do it twice on your way to victory! The current line-up:
Medieval Madness
Sharkey’s Shootout
Elvis
Terminator 3
Who Dunnit?
Last week there were 17 participants. Let’s try to get 20 this time. Single game double elimination with no EB’s. Also this will be a good chance to pre-register for the Ground Kontrol so bring an extra $10 and avoid the hassle of using a computer. See you all there!

Once again we will be using the same bracket program and game selection method. Same Championship game determination as well, I really like the way that works.

well shit, i better get practicing down there. double called out! now i have to show up, AND there’s a bounty on my head! i’m not even that good at MM, let’s face it– y’all just crumpled under the pressure, and i managed consistently *OK* games. bring it, if i lose it just means i can start drinking sooner.

I beat Rhodes on T3, he got second, JDR got 3rd. i went undefeated but only played Elvis (2, beating JDR and Louie) and T3 (4, beating Rhodes, WNK, COW, damn mind when blank on the 4th). i will get total results posted soon including IFPA ranking points too.

nicely done. i got bitch slapped on two games i didn’t know, but should’ve overcome that shit. finally beat DDT head-to-head though, now i have no one to fear. wish JDR would come to some events outside his house so i can find out how good he is elsewhere– i know he’s good, but especially on those machines. congrats on the takedown.

he will be at GK, and I have his # now for future events. hes good but he is beatable you just can’t be intimidated, I think i am 3-1 against him now, with the one loss on that shitty MM
